Jade Restaurant Bella Vista — Restaurant in Santo Domingo

We ordered three appetizers, three main courses and three drinks and there was absolutely no one else in the restaurant. About 15 minutes later the egg rolls came out and she told us it would be a few more minutes for the other appetizer but it took another 15 minutes for a small plate of tuna and nachos to come out and then immediately following only two of the three main entrees came out. They told us that the sushi would take a bit longer because he spent so much time making the nacho plate. Basically one person would not have that dinner until the rest had finished (another 20 minutes. The waitress was nowhere to be found most of the time. There's absolutely no excuse because there was no one else in the restaurant, we were the only diners. Horrible service. I will never return...

The hostess was very friendly and professional. She opened the door upon entry and exit. The ambiance is nice, the place is clean, and the service was overall good. Our server was an average sized woman, long straightened hair, and light skinned. She got an attitude when my husband and I couldn’t hear her and asked her to explain something again on the menu. This place would be great if they trained their waitress, to do rounds and ask if you would like another drink or if your food is ok . They are leaving money on the table . The wait is long but the waitress could make the wait less if they just came around to your table instead of huddling at the bar talking. Good food, nice place ,great calm environment but the service really is slow. What a shame , could be a 5 star if...
