This place is hard to beat! Best sushi in Ecuador on the top floor of the tallest building in Ecuador, for a very fair price.

You will enter The Point and the concierge will escort you to the elevator. You got up to the 34th floor, which typically my ears pop in the elevator! You will then ascend the stairs to the 35th floor, where a top tier experience awaits you!

The service is impeccable, everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. The host is very kind. The waiter Jorge is very attentive and proper, and has been my waiter every time I have eaten here (3 times). He is an excellent guide through the menu, and has on more than one occasion had the bartender whip up custom variations on cocktails for me.

The food is excellent, full disclosure I have only eaten the sushi so cannot speak to the rest of the menu, because I love sushi and it's very difficult to find real sushi in Ecuador, so I don't see a lot of reason to order anything else. The sushi is a very fair price for the quality and quantity. The tirados and rolls are good, but I just personally prefer big slabs of fish, and the Sashimi selection plate does not disappoint! Very fresh and tender fish, expertly prepared. The Nigiris offer terrific combinations of flavors with the different fish, excellent sauces and garnishes. The beef sashimi with quail eggs is also terrific! The cocktails are some of the best in Ecuador, albeit not super strong, more about the flavor and presentation, which are both 10s in my honest opinion. They offer delicious smoked cocktails which are an excellent presentation and table side preparation, simply packed with layered flavors. I usually do 3-4 rounds of fish here, I literally cannot get enough!

And then of course, the view. The view! You can see the virtually the entirety of Guayaquil. I highly recommend arriving around 6pm while it is still light, that way you get to see the city in the day and also the lights at night! The stadium which is a 20 minute drive looks a stones throw away from up here, really cannot beat this view. That lends to the ambiance, which is very sophisticated, yet not pride or stuffy, slightly more modern and relaxed. It makes it easy for me to spend 3-4 hours here eating and drinking.

Easily one of the best places to eat in all of Ecuador, and as far as I've found hands down the best sushi...

This restaurant has a great “vibe” or aesthetic. The moment that walk into the lobby of the building and are greeted by an associate who leads you to elevators. The walk up the steps from where the elevator drops you off is nice as well, steps are covered in marble. Walking into the establishment we were greeted by a kind host. The interior is unique and is done with taste.

As others have mentioned the view is without a doubt worth the detour. The service is quite top notch, I would compare it to a steakhouse in the states. I highly recommend requesting Felipe as your server. He is really good at what he does!! Makes sure you are taken care of. I personally went to this establishment three times in a matter of two days. I can recommend the steak that comes with ginger mashed potatoes and mushrooms. I enjoyed the sushi roll as well, the one with peanuts. I also enjoyed their lunch buffet.

My only reason for four stars instead of five was because I needed to make a reservation through Amex concierge and I was let down by this, as there is an Amex logo next...

I went to the place with my family because I was on vacations, I used to live in guayaquil so I wanted to bring my cousin when I texted the restaurant asking if I could add someone else to my table they said No. When we got to the place it was empty . There was a table closer to the view so I asked if it could be possible to move the other table they said No because u guys are only 6 that table is for 8 . The restaurant was empty. Me and one of my friends order margaritas . When we were almost done with the FIRST one and about to the order another one the server came to us and said just in case we don’t have anymore tequila! I order langostinos which were pretty decent . Incredible how u pay so much to reserve a table which was $90 ( 15 per person ) to reserve your table and you get this kind of service . The view was good , the food acceptable but the only service I will recommend is the server Jorgito he was very respectful and attentive. I wouldn’t recommend NEGRONI at all! Way too expensive for the service they provide to...

Negroni offers a truly memorable dining experience. Upon entering, guests are greeted with warmth, respect, and genuine appreciation, setting the tone for the evening. The restaurant boasts a stylish, modern ambiance, complemented by breathtaking views that enhance the overall experience. We opted for drinks from the secret menu, expertly recommended by Jorge Valverde, whose exceptional service and attention to detail elevate expectations. Located on the 35th floor of The Point, guests are escorted to the elevator by a staff member in the lobby. Our meal included a tender and flavorful salmon in butter sauce, alongside a perfectly cooked steak teriyaki. I eagerly anticipate my next visit to explore more of the delectable dishes and drinks. The setting is undeniably romantic, and they offer table decorations upon reservation, making it an ideal choice for special occasions.
