SantoBar Gastro Experience & Coctel House — Restaurant in Guayaquil

Sadly I only found this place the night before I was due to leave Ecuador. I am almost reluctant to give a great review as its a small place and a total deserved success could be its undoing. The barmen are professional in knowledge and customer care. Our waitresses were similarly qualified and the clientle were friendly and engaging. There is a grand selection of wines without the typical astromical pricing applied to establishments of this caliber. Podría 5 estrellas por su ambiente, ubicación y variedad de cócteles pero el servicio día que fuimos dejó mucho que decir. Habíamos pedido cervezas y una michelada con un piqueo, al final sin culpa al abrazarme con una amiga el vaso se viró y se rompió en la misma mesa, acción que la mesera nos puso una cara tan mala que nos disculpamos y su comentario fue: “Yo vi que ella lo tumbó” como si fuera a propósito. Luego le preguntamos si teníamos que reponer el vaso o algo por la situación incómoda que nos hizo pasar y dijo “no, eso administración nos cobra a nosotros” prácticamente echándonos la culpa. Toda la velada arruinada por ese gesto tan feo de ella. Aparte que previamente estaba coqueteando con un chico que pasaba por ahí, ósea no estaba atenta al cliente 100%.
