Glow RestoBar — Restaurant in Cairo

This is a detailed review of my experience at this place. What i liked about it: the food was amazing i tried the pizza and the white sauce pasta and they were really really good especially the pasta. What i didnt like: the place is very dull and the dj was playing boring arabic songs which i hated, the speakers were too loud you will have to yell for the other person to hear you, the place was quiet empty only 4 or 5 other tables were occupied and the staff is always watching you along with the manager which i dont really mind as long as its not too much but they’re watching the whole time even while we’re eating which made me uncomfortable, however the waiters were nice when we spoke to them and the manager was decent. What i really hated: everything is too overpriced already but on top of that the add the usual 14% tax and 12% service but also another 14% “entertainment tax” which really annoyed me because we were already paying way too much for that place and when we talked to the manager about it he said its for the dj??? I’ve never been to a place where there is a tax on top of tax on the bill on top of the already overpriced food and drinks! Nice place, cosy ambience, tasty food, friendly staff, very polite, welcoming and professional maître de hôtel and place manager, and so amazing dj team (karaoke day) and their songs selection upon taste request.

My problem comes to the entrance host upon arrival and entry rules sent upon reservation confirmation that were not applied/found completely! Suitshirts and teens in the place and different minimum charge other than what was informed! Neither semi-formal/ smart casual wear, nor above 21 yrs are only allowed as requested!! Weird attitude on door and not welcoming at all, as if we will run away and won't pay the minimum charge and cake service, that should be paid on door! P.S. The food quality is absolutely nice, but the portion quantity is pretty low.
