Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Cairo

Update: Still my favorite coffee house but also still a bad managerial decision to move the smoking area to the end of the cafe especially since summer is hitting the door.

They need to change the music Playlist, seriously. The lady manager now is performing better by the way.

Another update.. they have a lady manager on the morning shift.. the worst ever.. very provocative, neither polite nor Professional .. at all. Start hating come in the morning because of her. I guess Costa management now needs more attention to keep customers especially the regular ones.

Update .. since today there's no table service anymore.. it's a very bad decision from Costa management. Cups & ashtrays also are old and broken ..furniture aren't clean, reducing staff results not only poor service but bad one too, it looks like they are leaving soon. My old opinion was..Nice coffee, good price, good location, parking area available. Friendly staff and reliable management.The best...

Today I went with my family for a quick to go coffee at Merghany branch the cashier named Ahmed Ali was VERY rude he asked me to pay 10 pounds extra than the actual receipt which I thought was part of the amount due only to see him putting those 10 pounds on the Tip mug!!! I got shocked and when I asked about the receipt and protest he got aggressive and told me that I’m the one who didn’t hear right ! Although the next client who witness said that the cashier asked me for 310 pounds not 300!! And after all that he didn’t put the rest of my order on the counter to be taken abd what did the manager do to all that he was pushing the worker back and continue to nod his apologetically but it seems he is not respected enough by the stuff ( I wonder why?!) Been customer for more than 12 years feeling sorry for the bad agents...

Very nice cafe .. it’s one of my favourites.. I’ve been to this branch years ago and it looked different.. it’s nice but I miss the old setup though..liked more how it looked in the past.. As for menu items .. cappuccino, mocha, got chocolate, cheesecake, tiramisu are great and I’m sure other stuff too.. The only thing is that the place is very noisy (not music or so, but noisy atmosphere)...

Didn’t get a printed bill.. don’t know why and didn’t notice to ask about it until I left the place..
