We visited during the evening and as we walked into the garden, the smell of the bathrooms was the first thing we noticed. You pass by them on your way inside.

A waiter wordlessly pointed to a table and didn’t check if we wanted to sit inside or outside. No greeting or cheerfulness. The first chair I pulled out had a used tissue on the seat left over from an earlier guest. A glance around the garden showed various napkins and discarded items like receipts on the ground. The staff member returned to his chair fully immersed in his phone.

We were handed a plastic menu that was falling apart and the lamination was peeling off. My husband decided to order a smoothie. I had heard the herbal teas were good. We checked a few times but there were not any teas listed on the menu given to us. Our waiter returned without a word. He finally spoke to tell us we should go inside to order the tea.

Inside, two more staff members looked at us without acknowledgement. The herbal teas sat on the front counter without signage or price. I asked what ingredients were in the tea I selected “euphoria”. Without replying, the staff member opened the glass jar for me to smell the tea, I believe. His frown and sigh didn’t encourage me to ask for more details. Despite it being on the menu, my husband’s order of apple beet smoothie was declined.

The tea was 136le. Another waiter delivered it without a word.

Overall, the lack of basic customer service, visible trash throughout the garden and tables, confusing menu, and nonchalance of the staff led us to the conclusion that we’ll not return...

Been always the best place i would go to if i wanted to work or just chill a bit, however lately since you guys started to get bit busier which is great of course but the service is becoming so bad , i went today for example at 8 pm the man who is managing the place i guess was having a bit of an attitude for some reason tho i understood it might be a rough day at work, however i asked if i can sit outside when a table is free and he said okay once a table is free he will let me know but i need to order a drink first which is weird but okay i did so, few of the people inside already got a table outside but they were there before me so i didn’t complain but 2 people came 2 hours after me and they sat inside for couple of minutes and then ran out side to get a table and i kept asking if anything is free or not as am working and inside is a bit noisy and they kept saying no so i looked outside and found a big stand the pne you guys have that the wooden one so i got my things and sat out but all of a sudden he said i can’t sit there tho there were a group of people sitting outside on it right before me and they were from china or smth not sure how ever when he said that i asked him what about the table there were few tables free and you didn’t ask me if i wanna move or not he said still i can’t sit outside without even answering my Q , i love the place there and love ur drinks not loving the attitude lately as it’s not the first incident so please start making waiting list or reservation because the staff can not control...

☕️ Ordered a regular latte and it was nice. My sister ordered a cappuccino and she found it tasty and well balanced. The origin of their coffee beans is Indonesia, specifically Sumatra, and they have a wide variety of coffee drinks (hot and cold) and smoothies as well

🍃 They have a nice outdoors area with lots of greenery that is quiet and even has a cute hammock, as well as an inside well ACed area. They're both nice and have pleasant vibes but because it was quite sunny we chose to sit inside on the little "bar" by the window

We arrived around 11.15 am last Saturday, and there were people already but it was quiet. Unfortunately, at some point a group of friends came and they were making a lot of noise. So I would say go the earlier the better if it's a weekend.

The owner of the place was very nice and it was clear that he knew what he was talking about when I inquired about several coffee drinks on the menu.

💶 I would say the prices are okay considering this is Degla. Paid 80 LE incl taxes for the latte.
