Akemi Egypt Restaurant — Restaurant in Giza

Well this review is hard for me but i will try to be fair. I went to ve Iftar with prior reservation. They offered open buffet (with specific items (2 drinks, soup, pasta, salads, and oriental desserts) and one main dish of my selection of a range 1k and 1.4k (inc Vat) and i accepted and picked my plates. unfortunately, after my arrival, i found that they didnt establish any buffet and found that they served à la carte way with same dishes, that was disappointing for me in two reasons: They didnt mention before, cos i may change my mind and go for another restaurant. They didnt serve pasta Items from buffet are not refilled although quantities were somehow good. They didnt serve oriental desserts and replaced with brownies and cake without my prior concern. Despite such big negative points and experience, the taste of food was great tbh. Also the view is spectacular. The service was perfect. The place is so clean. when i claimed for the negative experience they said thats because they didnt reach the enough (10 tables) reservations, which is not my problem and they shall mention earlier not breaking the terms of hospitality like that. At the end they offered 10% discount (180 LE) off the total check which is nothing. They did not offer parking, unfortunately. And i parked my car on the side of the street. My mom and I stayed at the Royal Pyramid Inn in July 2025. From the moment we stepped foot in the hotel we were treated with nothing but kindness. Youssef at the reception desk provided us with a smooth check in and allowed us to sit at the rooftop restaurant until our room was ready. At the restaurant Said gave us the best service. Over the entire duration of our stay Said and other staff members were extremely attentive to our needs and patient with us despite the language barrier. All of the food was exceptional! There was not a bad drink or dish in the entire establishment. Overall this was one of the best vacations I have had and it is all because the wonderful staff and resturant environment. I highly recommend the Chicken Jalforezi, you will not be disappointed!

I will also add this place is SPOTLESS! The staff frequently cleans the restaurant and they do not let dirty dishes sit around too long. This restaurant is by far one of the best I have...

Excellent food, top notch customer service. My mother has multiple dietary restrictions and restaurant manager Khaled went above and beyond to accommodate her dietary restrictions. He provided her fantastic chilled lemon drinks at breakfast every morning also the vegetables she is able too eat such as eggplant, capsicum. Shout out to manager Khaled for top notch customer service and attention to us at meal times everyday especially my mother's multiple dietary restrictions. My mother is a picky eater and very difficult to please but she was very satisfied with the food and service every single day at all meals. We enjoyed the food and service greatly as well as the ambience of the rooftop restaurant - eating with the backdrop of the pyramids was a wonderful experience.
