I had a strange experience

My sister ordered her dish and the waiter brought the wrong dish

When we called the manager to ask how to deal with this the right way without me waiting for my sisters new dish to arrive and mine get cold, I offered some solutions

He said that the waiter would have to pay if we got a new dish

My sister ended up eating the dish and left half of it as it wasn’t her flavour and she didn’t enjoy it

I felt we fell into a guilt trip

I ordered a tofu dish and there were only two small pieces of tofu so I asked for more

They charged me a lot extra for that and so I refused

It’s a nice decor , the young waiters are very friendly yet for the price I don’t recommend

I paid almost 2000 LE for two dishes and one starter and we didn’t even get what we asked for and it wasn’t even that tasty

there wasn’t any good manager support for such a place where usually customer satisfaction should be crucial

We tried their beef Pho, which was nice, but not amazing. Their duck dish was ok because of the sauce, but the duck was overcooked.

We then ordered a seafood Pho to try it out, which was disgusting and came with a single piece or shrimp. The only seafood thing about that Pho was its fishy smell.

The worst part, which relates to the service, is that we didn’t eat the seafood Pho, and asked to have it taken away. They took it away, but the owner insisted on charging us for the plate, backed by confidence that this is how the plate is supposed to be and taste.

Dear owner…people come back to restaurants 50% for the food and 50% for the experience. Your food is ok and our experience...

I know Saigon from El Gouna, very popular, tasty food and good service. Our first experience yesterday began with the booking through the phone where it took them a lot to answer and for us to book. We arrived,ordered. The food came fast we ordered Shrimps appetizers unfortunately it came out raw. The shrimp curry was really good, I enjoyed eating it. The service turned out to be very bad at the end where we had an argument with the waiter and the owner herself interfered.
