The Bicafé in Port Ghalib, Egypt, is an absolute gem that truly stands out, not just for its picturesque location by the marina but also for its exceptional food and service. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, with stunning views of the yachts in the harbor, creating the perfect backdrop for an enjoyable experience.

One of the highlights of my visit was the impeccable service provided by Mahmud, who made us feel genuinely welcome and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was flawless. His attentiveness and warm demeanor added a personal touch to our lunch that made all the difference.

The food itself was outstanding. I highly recommend the Lamb Kebab, cooked to perfection – tender, juicy, and full of rich, smoky flavors that showcased the quality of the ingredients, beautifully presented. The kebab was served on a small tabletop oven, keeping the meat warm and enhancing the overall experience – a truly delightful touch. Another delicious dish was a Shrimps Pizza, which was perfectly prepared – a crispy crust topped with fresh, flavorful shrimp and just the right amount of cheese. For europeans I suggest not to compare with Pizze we are used to, especially the Salami, which is one thing you can't find anywhere delicious in Egypt - according to my experience.

Das BiCafé in Port Ghalib liegt direkt an der Marina und bietet eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf den Hafen und die dort liegenden Yachten. Die Lage ist wirklich hervorragend und sorgt für eine angenehme Atmosphäre, besonders wenn man im Freien sitzt und den Sonnenuntergang genießen kann. Das Ambiente ist modern und einladend, was zunächst einen guten Eindruck macht.

Leider gibt es einige Punkte, die den positiven Gesamteindruck trüben. Die Preise sind meiner Meinung nach viel zu hoch im Vergleich zur Qualität der Speisen und Getränke. Besonders enttäuschend ist, dass auf alle Preise noch einmal 14 % Steuern aufgeschlagen werden, ohne dass dies klar kommuniziert wird. Das wirkt intransparent und hinterlässt einen negativen Beigeschmack.

Die Qualität des Essens hat uns ebenfalls nicht überzeugt. Die Gerichte sind zwar optisch ansprechend, aber geschmacklich eher mittelmäßig und definitiv nicht den Preis wert.

Positiv hervorzuheben ist der Service: Das Personal ist freundlich, aufmerksam und bemüht, den Gästen einen angenehmen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Hier gibt es nichts zu beanstanden – der Service ist wirklich ausgezeichnet.

Insgesamt kann ich das BiCafé leider nicht empfehlen. Die Lage und das Ambiente sind toll, der Service ist hervorragend, aber die Qualität des Essens sowie die Preisgestaltung machen den Besuch enttäuschend. Daher vergebe ich nur 2...
