Divino Port Ghalib Marina — Restaurant in Red Sea

Drinks were fine. When the live entertainment started a little while after we got there, it was waaaaay too loud if you want to have any conversation, though. My GF and I were with a group of about 10 people, and everyone thought the same. We couldn't hear each other at all while they were playing and we ended up leaving.

Other than that, my GF and I had gotten a hookah with multiple refills a couple of nights in Cairo for $2 and another place in Port Ghalib (about 100m away) had them for $3. That place also said if we came with a group the hookah would be free. We ended up going to Divino one night, though, and I didn't think to ask the price. It didn't have much tobacco in it and we got no refills. When I got the bill it was $11 + service charge and the bill said "open beverage". Straight up rip off. Port Ghalib invites you to linger with its shops and marina. If you want to have a special experience, you should definitely spend an evening in the Divino Restaurant. There is excellent food here. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. I followed the recommendation and ordered a steak. Kudos to the chef. Anyone who likes live music and wants to let off steam is always welcome here. The staff is very nice and fulfills almost all wishes here. Everyone takes excellent care of the guests. Guys, you are just amazing. My special thanks go to Dollar. The Restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The food was great and the service was perfect. Our service man was called Boody and he was very helpful and attentive. He was great, even though he was standing behind us, staring at our phone, till we finished this review which he asked us to write. But we quickly forgot about it, when he surprised us with two cocktails on the house. 🍹 Worth to mention: we came back after two days and the whole staff was again super friendly and happy.
