Casa Fuego x Bendito Fuego — Restaurant in San Salvador

SO GOOD- stumbled upon this place while walking around the city. the first thing we noticed was the warm lighting and good vibe. the staff were all so friendly and welcoming when we arrived and the restaurant is sparkling clean. as expected the steak was AMAZING, but the salad and charred cauliflower were just as good!!!! i love when a restaurant takes care to make delicious sides and vegetable options- the salad was filled with herbs and edible flowers and the cauliflower was so smoky and delicious. my only critique was that the chimichuri could be a bit more tart and flavorful- it got lost in the taste of the steak. we loved our meal would love...

My wife and I were curious about this place as we love steakhouses. We arrived at 2 PM and we ordered some sausages, beef empanadas and tortillas to accompany the food and they didn’t have those dishes. Worse is that we didn’t find out 10 minutes after we had ordered and not all at once’s but every time we modified the order because they didn’t have the item. The pork empanada was subpar, the meat was dry and flavorless. The feria potatos were average at best. I ordered a medium rare Vacio and it was served well done. El lugar está bastante bien, es pequeño y la iluminación y ambientación te hacen sentir en un espacio muy cómodo. Lastimosamente el menú de ese día era reducido por Foodsion pero es totalmente comprensible. Sobre la comida, la carne estaba muy bien, las remolachas quemadas fueron mis favoritas, recomienda pedirlas. Ahora lo que no me pareció, las papas de feria son papas gajo de bolsa, no son papas orgánicas cortadas, sazonadas y preparadas por el lugar. Como todas las papas de este tipo que podés encontrar en restaurantes de comida rápida, saben a harina. Esto me decepcionó muchísimo. No es lo que espero de un lugar de este tipo sobre todo considerando la relación calidad-precio. Otra cosa que no me pareció mucho es la tostada de aguachile de camarón, si bien el camarón debe estar solo remojado minutos antes de servir, no le sentí nunca el sabor a limón, y en general, no le sentí sabor a algo más que lo fuerte del jalapeño.
