Art Cafe — Restaurant in Rakvere linn

Unfortunately this place offered the worst burger that I have experienced in Estonia for at least in the past year. The cutlet is completely dried out - no fat. It looked like it had been forgotten in the freezer after frying and then reheated for us. Most of the taste was from the smoky mayo. The bun was fresh, not heated nor fried and so wet, that it could have been a budding. Fries were OK, but nothing good. Maybe other dishes are better, but if you want a good burger go to a different place. You pay a bit more, but you get a lot more for that. PS! Be also careful with the menu, as not all drinks are served in the quantity...

Jõudsime kell 13 kohale. 10 minuti jooksul ei näinud me ühtegi teenindajat. Siis läksime võtsime ise menüüd ja päevasupi. Umbes 13.15 läksime tellisime letist ka lõheprae ja pelmeenid ning fanta, sest teenindajaid polnud kuskil. 13.30 öeldi meile, et läheb 15 minutit veel. Selle aja peale oli 1a laps supi ära söönud ja enam 15 minutit poleks seal teda hoidnud. Otsustasime, et niikaua ei oota ja ütlesime, et tuleme tasume ainult supi eest. Ka fantat ei suudetud meile 15minutiga tuua. Leti ääres tasudes oli kuulda kuidas töötajad köögis kõva häälega, ebaviisakalt meie otsust kommenteerivad.

We arrived at 13:00. We didn't see any waiters for 10 minutes. Then we went and got the menu and the soup of the day ourselves. Around 13:15 we went and ordered salmon steak and dumplings and fanta from the counter, because there were no waiters anywhere. At 13:30 we were told that it would be another 15 minutes. By that time, the 1-year-old child had finished the soup and they wouldn't have kept him there for another 15 minutes. We decided that we wouldn't wait that long and said that we would come and pay only for the soup. They couldn't bring us the fanta in 15 minutes either. While paying at the counter, we could hear the kitchen staff loudly and rudely commenting on...

We stopped for a quick lunch and cake. Luckily! Very nice litte cafe with delicious cakes and affordable lunch options such a soup for 3,50 euros. And the service was very nice and polite. Would have loved to...
