Bar Melo offers an authentic experience with traditional drinks and bold flavors. Our first choice was sold out, so we opted for the next best one that came with a warning. And trust me, the warning was valid! The taste is definitely acquired, but it’s worth trying for the experience. The food itself was delicious, but if you need modifications, be sure to triple-check with the servers. Unfortunately, our requests for less spice weren’t followed, which made it challenging for most of our group. That said, the flavors were amazing, and we still enjoyed the meal. If you can handle the spice, you’re in for a treat!

Visited on a Friday night and can’t believe DJs keep me up and on my feet from till 3:45am when we left. Reason we had to leave early was cuz had a flight to catch at 7am! The manager, Robel, was an awesome host! Will definitely be back when next we are in Addis! Thank you Robel and your team for the exceptional VIP service!
