This is a chain restaurant 🍽️. The branch in Tórshavn is always packed, so the first thing we did upon arriving in this small town was to check out how good their steak really is. Sadly... things didn’t go as expected 😞

🥩 Steak Undoubtedly the signature dish - the name says it all. But the doneness was off. I ordered medium, but what I got was well-done - almost no pink in sight! The seasoning was basic salt and pepper. Diners can choose from whisky sauce 🥃, black pepper sauce 🌶️, or béarnaise sauce🍳. For those who don’t like alcohol or spice, the béarnaise is a good choice. It came in a bowl so big it looked like steamed egg custard. Quite worthy.

🍔 Beef Burger Just average. The patty was also fully cooked, slightly dry, lacking the juiciness a good burger should have. The mild mayo helps balance it, maybe more suitable for kids 👶

The restaurant offers a lunch special 💰. Honestly, with this level of overcooking, it's only worth lunch pricing. If dinner is the same quality, then the pricing feels too high 💸

Service was nice 😊, the restroom was clean 🧼, and the interior design tasteful 🪑. The dining space was pleasantly quiet 🤫. However, the chef’s control over doneness clearly needs improvement. A well-done steak or burger might not be a huge deal to some, but if Gordon Ramsay saw this... he might drop an F-bomb right there 🤬👨‍🍳

I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the fantastic dining experience I had at your restaurant. I visited for lunch with a friend and we were blown away by the quality of the food and the service.

We ordered the Angus favorite steak and the Salmon, and both dishes were absolutely perfect in taste and presentation. The flavors were expertly balanced and the portions were generous. Our compliments to the chef!

Additionally, I must commend our waitress for her polite and fast service. She was attentive to our needs without being intrusive, and made sure that we had everything we needed for a great meal.

Overall, I would highly recommend Angus Steakhouse to anyone in the area looking for a delicious and enjoyable dining experience. Thank you for your dedication to excellent food...

After we came back from Syðradalur Harbor, we headed to this steak house since most of us were craving for steak 😍 The location was nice, near the harbor, and we managed to find a parking lot just opposite the restaurant. The staff welcomed us in a polite and nice way, and arranged us in a separated small room which can hold 2 big groups of people. One of the male staff has good memory, he managed to memorize orders from 9 of us. Even when he serves our food, he knows which meals belong to who, that really impressed us. The taste of the meal was so nice and the price was reasonable, we glad that we were able to find a steakhouse with everything still applied on the menu during the strike.
