Dan's Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Central

Nice neat little set up, fast service and I liked the fish coating - Unfortunately the fish itself was Chewy & dry.

I felt like I wasted my money. Told the staff that the fish was chewy and I couldn't eat it but they couldn't do anything about it.

It's fine to charge good money - You just need to make sure you provide a good product for the good hard earned money that customers spend.

Had to throw the fish away. The fries were fine.

Too much of a miss than a hit. The fish was chewy 4 out of 6 times that I visited this place so I've made up my mind that I won't be wasting my money there again, unless the quality of the fish improves.

I do hope they improve on the quality of the fish in the near future... I really don't mind paying more for a better...

This has been my favorite fish and chips parlour for over a decade, since I have been coming to this place I have always enjoyed the lovely atmosphere in which I enjoy that delicious crumbed fish and chips. In my recent visits I have noticed that the place is loosing it's identity as well it's greatly known service which is offered with no courtesy. The fish and chips is not cooked the way it used to, losing taste, flavours and a bit of what made it really special. I think it's about time to relook at what's at stake and I'm sure if the management puts in a little bit effort with their service they can quickly turn...

have been to Dan's fish & Chips over several years. The quality of food remains good. can never complain about taste. But since last year, August probably Dan's Fish & Chips posted on it's wall inside the restaurant that it supports the reduction in plastic. Yet each and every customer who buys take away is given the fish & chips (or other food) in a plastic bag. No question asked. so i am not sure how serious Dan's is on supporting the environment, or probably the person at the cash register has not read the notice on the wall. It will also help if they dont supply...
