January Tea time — Restaurant in Viti Levu

I heard a lot about this place, saw a lot of friends posting photos on their Instagram and I thought it must be really good so I should pay a visit too. My friend purchased a new drink called "Purple Boom". She had a sip of it and gave each one of us all to try it, out of six friends, no one liked it. I thought maybe it's because a new flavor so I decided to purchase "Mixed Berries Smoothie". I was very disappointed because both the drinks tasted somewhat the same. I feel that they use some liquid and mix it with all the flavors and keep this liquid much more in quantity of the actual flavor which messes up the taste. Also the staff were very rude, while waiting for our drink, we waited at the tables and we were TOLD and NOT REQUESTED to leave the tables because it was for customers who ordered food and honestly, there were no customers at that time of the day except for us. As we all know how hot the west of Fiji is, we just wanted to wait in the air- con but the staff had us wait in the heat outside. No good taste, no smiles, no appreciation-totally...

Love this place. The owner there is super friendly and nice , they will suggest new flavors for you to try. My personal favorites are their new drink “purple bloom”. Love the taste of the taro mixed with sweet potatoes 🍠... They have numerous flavors to choose from along with several toppings to add in. They also have seasonal flavors.

Tried purple bloom - it’s taro (dalo) and purple sweet potatoes flavored.. quite unique and must say can be an an acquired taste. Nevertheless, it was nice.. 👍
