Café Torpanranta — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

I'll include this as a review. I visited in late March 2025. The weather was sunny, so the view was beautiful and the café had a relaxing atmosphere. It was still cold, so only a few people were sitting in the terrace area. I was walking in the nearby park, and the indoor seating was full at all times. They offer a wide variety of drinks and menu items. It seems to be a popular spot for locals on their walking routes, so it gets quite busy. This cafe is run by the same company that owns Cafe Ursula. They are both well established and much loved locations for their food and scenery. While Cafe Ursula is great for watching the boats arriving at Helsinki harbour, Torpanranta is the best place in Helsinki to view the sunset. During the summer there is outdoor seating and rugs and heaters are available if it does get cold. During the winter this area is of course closed but the main indoor area is warm and welcoming. This is an awesome café right on the sea shore. It big, so lots of indoor and outdoor seating. They have big umbrellas and awnings for shade. We were there on a super hot day. But, when there was a breeze; it was nice. Their menu has a lot of delicious going on. They have coffee drinks and alcoholic beverages. There are salads, sandwiches, pastries, and fabulous cakes.
