Visited the Redi branch. Staff was friendly. The fried food was a little too oily and salty but at least it still had a nice crunch. However , some sushi was stale and dry. All food had no labels. Pickled ginger was placed on a big buffet tray on the buffet table next to fresh salad, I usually like pickled ginger but did not take it this time as it looked unclean the way it was arranged. Wasabi was not next to sushi section but next to fresh salad. Cake, left exposed at the edge of the table. They have miso soup, the tofu was in big uneven chunks. There was curry but I did not take it as there was no food label. Place wasn't too busy but for the entire time I was there , the other tables were not cleaned at all, even when we left. There was at least 4 tables (excluding mine) uncleared for more than 30 mins. Floor was dirty with footprints. It was dinner time so the price was 17,90€. They place the plates next to the cashier counter so you can't find them elsewhere. I think they are understaffed; sometimes you don't see a single staff at the counter or floor area. Overall it is the worst sushi place I've ever been (and I've been to many) and the price is a rip off for the quality they serve. Why did I eat here?Actually I checked reviews before coming, but they were mixed, since they have 4 stars I thought it can't be that bad despite claims of dirtiness. Apparently, the reviews are combined for all locations so perhaps there are other branches that serve better food. Make your own judgement before eating at this...

THE GOOD Digital customers card Cheesecake Soups Modern atmosphere Open space outside Exotic sushi types
THE BAD No hands disinfectant Rice not too soft Soy sauce a bit watery Not too many vegan dishes
BOTTOM LINE It's really handy and beneficial to have a digital customer card, so you get a free meal every 10 times. The customer card may be the main reason why I come back to Luckiefun's. Well, maybe the soup and the cakes can be the second reason 😊 The hand disinfectant is for sure one of the reasons why I may think twice before...
Read moreLuckiefun’s used to be my go-to place years ago when they opened a small shop in Sörnäinen. Unfortunately they quickly begun to go down in quality, and eventually I found myself not visiting them anymore. Unfortunately, it seems that they have been getting ever worse (while ever better sushi buffets have been opening everywhere in Helsinki the past years). This Luckiefun’s at Redi is dirty, seems to be run by children, sushi is below average, and service nonexisting....
