Ravintola Bella Marina — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

We visited Ravintola Bella Marina in Vuosaari and booked a table for six on June 21, 2025. Our friends later left a review, and instead of simply apologizing, the owner attempted to twist the situation to make us appear at fault and accused us of giving an unfair rating. We chose four Bella Burgers, one Cheese Burger, and one risotto, and all the burgers were served without cheese, which we mentioned in our review. We also mentioned that the restaurant closed two hours earlier (at 8:00 PM) than what was stated when we made the reservation.In response to our review, they stated that they don't have a Cheese Burger on their menu, that we couldn't have ordered a burger from the children's menu, and that they made allowances for us. They also mentioned that the restaurant closed early due to a holiday and that guests are allowed only 90 minutes per visit. There is no Cheese Burger on their menu and that we couldn’t have ordered a burger from the children’s menu.

Our clarifications:

The restaurant’s official menu clearly lists the Bella Burger (cheese included under “Burger”) in both Finnish and English .

When we booked, we explicitly asked about the restaurant’s operating hours: we were told the kitchen closes at 20:00, but the restaurant remains open until 22:00, and we are free to stay until closing time .

A restaurant cannot legally refuse to serve items from the children’s menu if they are listed on the menu.

Nowhere—neither on the website nor during booking—was there any mention of a 90-minute time limit per table.

We want to emphasize that we have no complaints about the waitress—she was very kind and professionally handled the situation. However, the owner’s misleading and defensive response significantly damaged our overall impression of...

Have been eating at this place recently. Ordered 4 Bella’s burger (their’s special) 1 cheeseburger and 1 risotto with salmon. None of those burgers had cheese inside. As well, we called beforehand and asked the working time of this place as it was Holliday during this day. They said that the kitchen is working till 8 pm and the place till 10 pm. Incredible location nice restaurant over all the food was good but unfortunately the service was quite bad. We went three times the first time for an aperitivo we waited 40 minutes for cheese and cold cuts platter, second time we went for dinner we had to wait over 50 minutes for one pizza the third time we waited 20 minutes just for our order to be taken and one hour for the pizza once we got the pizza we didn't have any silverware we had to wait 10 minutes before they...
