Restaurant Ka-Shing — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

We accidentally stumbled upon this restaurant today. We were really tired and hungry and it looked like a good place to eat. Lo and behold, it was! The feel of the place is very Chinese. It feels like I'm in China, but less crowded. The decor was Chinese, the furniture was Chinese, the music was Chinese.

The area was wide enough to bring my pram inside. They had a high chair which was clean! So good because I remember going to another restaurant with a dirty high chair. This is plus points to me 👍 The floor was carpeted and looked clean enough to allow my son to crawl. Okay, I was really tired; but I do not let my son crawl anywhere that looks super dirty. Their floor passed my clean enough standard. 😅

It was a hot summer day, it was nice that there were fans inside to help cool down the temperature.

The cashier was very accommodating. Gave us our requests promptly, like water, high chair, small spoon and plate, etc. I was with my baby, I had lots of demands. He was patient enough with me. Thank you for your kindness, sir! 😁

And the food. The food was yummy. It wasn't super oily and rich like other Chinese dishes. The chef here really though of making their food more healthy (meaning less oil).

Had been visiting this quite often lately, the chef makes really good authentic Cantonese food, there are a lot of hidden menu I love it like hell. Every time we were too starving to try out all the dishes, rarely has the chance to take photos.

Here I would recommend the roasted duck, skin is bloody crispy and some the duck marinated with spices and herbs for 3 days, the flavor is naturally savory, please call ahead to reserve the duck 3 days ahead. Chef roasts and rests it right before you pick up the duck. And by the way, the roasted pork is also brilliant with the sauce.

Deep fried cattlefish, mayonnaise deep fried shrimp are my favorites salty snack, with the beer, no one could resist it.
