Kahvila Mutteri — Restaurant in Helsinki sub-region

I recently visited Cafe Mutteri and decided to try their soft serve (“pehmis”). I chose two flavors: blueberry-cardamom and strawberry. My friend went for just the blueberry-cardamom. The pricing was straightforward—one flavor costs €4.90, and two flavors come to €9.80.

The ice cream itself was good, especially the blueberry-cardamom, which had a rich, distinctive flavor that I really enjoyed. The strawberry, on the other hand, was quite mild. I wouldn’t choose it again, as I had hoped for a more intense taste.

The café is quite small, and there wasn’t much seating available. We ended up with a spot that felt quite tucked away, almost out of sight. It was also fairly warm inside, which is why we chose to sit outdoors.

Very nice service! Staff is exceptionally pleasant! This is my first time in Finland and obviously, I did not know what to order. vegetarian? The lady working there today discussed with a colleague and the sandwich was quite good! They have Wifi also!

I requested to store my two tiny backpacks for 15 minutes till I get my apartment key. The young man working gladdly agreed! 👍

Overall, the woundeful staff advised, served a snack, healthy and fresh!

I have visited three times in a year time. Unfortunately every time I have left with the feeling that “I shouldn’t come back here again”.
