For the lunch buffet, Malacca Keilaniemi delivers on its promise on offering a wide variety of salads, fried foods, desserts and mains.

However, overall quality and taste wise, it didn't deliver as much lesser. For the cooked selections- The Laksa is great and so was the fried white fish in bean sauce. However I can't say that the rest were as good.

At the lunch time peak hour, most of the cooked food sat lukewarm. The fried food like the springrolls and fried fishpaste fritters and fried prawns were cold and soggy.

The Rendang at Espoo is much too wet and is more like a beef half soaking in curry. It was not tasty. We visited the branch at Kaari just recently also for the lunch buffet and had a much better experience. The mains there were fresh, hot and well-prepared. The Rendang there was amazing- slow cooked, drier and rich in spices and coconut milk. The Laksa gravy was piping hot and loaded with tofu. At Espoo, even though the session had just started, there was much less tofu but at least the gravy was still good.

Beyond the food, the restaurant has a nice ambiance, large open concept and floor to ceiling windows that let in lots of light. Very popular place that draws in the working...

Is eatable and ok BUT definitely NOT A MALAYSIAN FOOD. Is quite misleading when the chef/restaurant owner have some Malaysian food in the menu with the picture also showing food we have back home but it taste nothing like Malaysian food. Disappointed and sadly not recommended at all unless if typical kiinalainen food that you after.

-------replied to your response: Yes, I know what Malaysian food as I am Malaysian. and I also tried your beef rendang and sambal. I even requested from your waiter (which he admitted he not Malaysian and do not understand what is in the menu) for a real rendang flavour - Sorry but this is not Malaysian beef rendang neither sambal. Reviews are not meant for unfair treatment but for you as the owner to improve better. If you can't take and critics, how do you improve your service? And perhaps train your staff to understand what is it ‘authentic...

This goes to Malacca Restaurant at Kaari. So staff was fabulous and service was absolutely great! But food was already cold when I get to table so I wasn't nice at all! At price of 14,50€ it should be warm... Curry and meat was very cold ... So this quite succeeded at this time, not at all. But I'll give them another shot and hopefully they learn their lessons and food is warm.... This could be best but just not right now. All has fresh taste and liked but those mains was horrible.
