Had an afternoon to spend in this town and was told to get an atomi or vety. Chose a vety with smoked ham. Long queue but was not disappointed. Also had a cofree and munkki for dessert.

Mir wurde gesagt, wenn ich in Lappeenranta bin, muss ich Vety und Atomi probieren. Deshalb legten wir auf dem Weg nach Savonlinna einem Stopp ein und ich wurde nicht enttĂ€uscht. Man denkt, es ist nur ein Sandwich, aber es ist eine Geschmacksexplosion! Es gibt mehrere Imbisse zur Auswahl, wir haben uns fĂŒr diesen entschieden und haben es nicht bereut. Die MĂ€dels waren freundlich und haben uns gut beraten. Bei der Frage welche Soße rauf soll, haben sie empfohlen, einfach alle zu nehmen. Guter Tipp!

Oh my...local 'vety' or 'atomi' are famous local food. You should taste that at least one on your life.

But this version was awful. I have eaten tens of this local food. This one was almost cold because it was not heated well inside the kettle (instead it was heated in microwave). Also it tool over 10 minutes to make when we waited that on counter. Something can be forgiven for summer traineers but not all.

This local food best version can be bought from local marketplace on city (not the one in harbor). Its best with milk...

This is a must place to go when visiting Lappeenranta. Place is beautiful and atmosphere is very relaxed. Serving size could be little bigger. It feels like serving size gets smaller and smaller...

Here you can enjoy warm summer day with family and friends, and probably the best Vetys and Atomis in town 👌 If you visit Lappeenranta, I recommend to try Vety (my favorite)...
