Restaurant Trattoria Il-Duetto — Restaurant in Porvoo sub-region

Very pleased with this restaurant. It’s a bit further out of the main city center but a good cardio walk before diving into the delicious carbs this restaurant has to offer.

We went for the carbonara and the steak with mushrooms. Had a panna cottage with espressos for dessert.

Everything was fantastic. There was cream in the carbonara but not in an overpowering way. The steak was well done and the sauce superb. Panna cottage with espressos was light and very pleasing to the after-palette. Coffees and wine were great too.

The checked tablecloths add to the cliche feeling and the atmosphere was cozy and casual. Good facilities for families too.

My second time here. We visited here a couple of weeks ago. My Pollo Siciliana was very good, but the "house ravioli" my wife had, was fantastic. Easily one of the best tasting foods I have ever had, including several high-end places. If you are visiting Porvoo, consider the few extra minutes from the old town district it takes to visit this restaurant. You will get much less touristic service and a much better...

Toissaviikolla olimme Porvoossa asuvien ystäviemme luona talkooapuna. Illansuussa ei enää huvittanut tehdä ruokaa, vaan lähdimme syömään ystäviemme kanssa heidän suosittamaansa Il Duetto'on. Ällistyttävää löytää Porvoon keskusta-alueen ulkopuolelta vaatimattoman näköisestä, oikeastaan ikkunatarroineen ei-houkuttelevan näköisestä pienestä ruokapaikasta ehkä parasta pizzaa, mitä olen Suomessa syönyt! Edes Italiassa ei aina ole saanut näin hyvää pizzaa. Täydellinen pohja, reunoiltaan rapeahko eikä keskeltä lötkö, sopivasti täytteitä: ei liikaa eikä liian vähän. Pöytäseurue tilasi muitakin ruokia ja lopputulos kaikkien osalta: todella hyvää maukasta ruokaa oikeasti italialaisittain!
