Pulo — Restaurant in Tampere sub-region

Food was tasty and the staff very kind and welcoming, but the menus weren't up to date in regards of price. The menu updated a month ago by the restaurant shows the lunch special to be 12.90€, but I was charged 14.90€ today.

For the price, I won't be back and can't recommend the place for lunch. 15€ for only a very few pieces of meat, rice and 3 veggie sticks is not competitive with the other (10-12€ and bigger portions as well as a salad&dessert bar, flavoured waters etc.) restaurants for lunch nearby, unfortunately. They did have clear soup (just broth) along with the lunch, but it really was not worth the 15€.

There did seem to be some variety in the size of the plates for other customers, so perhaps I just got unlucky and got a smaller portion for some reason. I hope they will update their prices to reflect the reality, so others know what to expect as well when looking up the...

Wonderful lunch, had to see if the food was as amazing as the pictures and reviews described it to be and I was not disappointed. We had the sizzling pork dish and chicken dish and both were just delicious and amazing. The price was unreal for the amount of effort the cook and servers put into the experience. 19€ for a dish that tasted AND looked like something that you could expect from a Michelin star restaurant is just out of this world. Complementary rice was also a nice bonus, keep it up guys your restaurant should flourish with...

Keskellä Tampereen sykettä, suoraan Tammelan torin vieressä sijaitsee aarre, joka onnistui viemään minut suoraan Filippiinien kulinaariseen taikaan – ravintola Pulo. Koko perheemme koki unohtumattoman illallisen lauantaina 19.8, ja en voi kuin hehkuttaa tätä kokemusta.

Ravintolan Crispy Pork Belly Sisig oli aivan omaa luokkaansa. Sanat eivät riitä kuvailemaan sitä nautintoa, joka levisi suussani. Se oli kuin palanen gastronomista iloittelua, ja voin rehellisesti sanoa, että se oli parasta, mitä olen koskaan maistanut – ei ainoastaan Suomessa, vaan myös Filippiineillä. Kokin kädenjälki näkyi jokaisessa annoksessa, ja Beef Kaldereta sekä Chicken Inasal veivät minut herkulliselle matkalle makujen maailmaan.

Palvelu ravintola Pulossa ei ollut pelkästään ammattitaitoista, vaan myös sydämellistä. Henkilökunta oli ystävällinen ja huomioonottava, ja he panostivat huolella siihen, että meidän allergiamme sekä 1,5-vuotiaan poikamme tarpeet huomioitiin täydellisesti. Tunsimme itsemme tervetulleiksi ja arvostetuiksi vierailijoiksi.

Toivotan ravintola Pulo Tampereelle pitkää ja menestyksekästä taivalta. Tällaiset ruokaelämykset ansaitsevat tulla jaetuiksi, ja toivon, että yhä useammat ihmiset löytävät tiensä teidän luoksenne. Jos filippiiniläinen ruoka on vielä sinulle ennen kokematonta, niin suosittelen ehdottomasti aloittamaan matkasi ravintola Pulo Tampereesta. Se ei ole pelkästään ravintola, vaan portti aitoon filippiiniläiseen kulttuuriin ja makujen maailmaan.
