Schnitzelhaus — Restaurant in Tampere sub-region

The only Schnitzel place in Tampere. Quite a broad selection of schnitzels and other traditional Bavarian/German foods. The beer selection is fine - quite a few imported beers on tap and some bottles. We took the traditional schnitzels with mushroom sauce and potato salad - it felt somewhat more salty than expected but still very delicious. Schnitzels, schnitzels and other interesting German-oriented food. And a nice beerselection. And lots of friendly, and proactive(!), staff. You can see that this is run by an experienced owner. It took some time to get the food because it was very busy, but that didn’t really matter - pretzels and beer in the meanwhile. The schnitzel itself was excellent, and so were the fries. Great food and super nice staff! Very clean. And delicious food. Sauerkraut was very good as well as a perfectly cooked bratwurst. Sweet German mustard as well! Great combo. I’d only say that the large beer and single sausage on sauerkraut was a bit pricey at 24€ and some change. Definitely tasty though.
