After many edits this is the last one. In the beginning I was very disappointed and frustrated with the pricing but having a few misunderstandings and disappointments I was not so objective with the review and gave 1 star. Now that the pricing has been corrected to the web page I will leave the whole review here. I was wrong on taking this to extremes. The pizza was good, I really enjoyed it.

The pizza was really delicious, but as I got my pizza to go, 14" pizzas were not available. Oh well, lets take the 18".

I ordered Supream where 14" would have been 19,5 € and the 18" was 42 €. The area of 18" pizza is 65 % bigger than the 14". The price of the pizza is 115 % more.

Very often when you buy a bigger one the price is relatively less, but here I have to say I will not go back with this math. There is a really good pizzeria not far from here where the pricing is much better. This sort of felt like robbery a bit, but I could have also not ordered a pizza after waiting in line to order for about 5-10 minutes.

Edit. It is nice to see I brought this up so you made 14" more expensive. 👍 Will not return and review went to 1 star.

Edit 2. I am sorry for people who would have wanted to order pizzas to go, wouldn't say 19,50 - 27 € for regular size pizzas is too fair (hint, for the first two days the one that is now 27 € was 19,5 €, even though it wasn't available at least on Saturday).

And yes, I ate the pizza by myself and 18" lasted for two meals in the same evening, so it might be good for 3 people if you are not hungry. Otherwise I would split that only for two as well even though its "meant for 2-3" people.

Itse näen asian niin, että jos olisit halunnut keskustella tästä henkilökohtaisesti, niin olisit voinut kertoa minulle vaikka "oletko yhteydessä, niin jutellaan asiasta". Ja kun nyt kerran menit niin pitkälle, että näit oikein vaivaa ottaaksesi selville kuka minä olen, niin olisit varmaan samalla tavalla voinut olla minuun yhteydessä. Se, että sunnuntaina huomasin korjauksen olleen 14" pitsoihin, eikä 18" pitsoihin oli minulle melkoinen ihmetyksen aihe.

Tämä arvio ei liity mitenkään siihen, mitä minä teen. Mutta kun nyt otit asian puheeksi, niin itse ravintoloitsijana olisin nähnyt asian siten, että suurin osa ihmisistä tulee tilaamaan mukaan tuon 14" pitsan ja mielestäni avatessanne niiden hinnat olivatkin järkeviä asiakkaille. Ja kuten sanottua, olin sellaista tilaamassakin itselleni matkaan. 10 minuuttia jonotettuani en viitsinyt sitten olla tilaamattakaan kun niitä 14" pitsoja ei ollutkaan saatavilla ja vaikka tuo 42 € hieman hirvitti, niin en siinä ruvennut tiskillä laskeskelemaan tuota pinta-alaa, minkä sitten kotona tein. Jos teillä ei ollut mahdollisuutta tehdä 14" pitsaa avausviikonloppuna, niin miksi te sitten mainostitte niitä nettisivuillanne? Kun selkeästi hinnat saitte sunnuntaina muutettua, niin olisiko ollut järkevää jättää tuo 14" hinnoittelu pois sivuilta, niin ei olisi tullut tällaista pettymystä?

Ihan näin ilmaisena vinkkinä aloittelevalle ravintoloitsijalle. Joskus me kaikki tehdään virheitä, mutta kilpaillulla alalla joskus täytyy ottaa nokkiinsa hieman. Asiakas ei aina ole oikeassa, mutta jos te mainostatte tuotetta, mitä ei ole saatavilla hinnalla, millä ette sitä pysty myymään, niin se tuntuu hieman kummalliselta.

Viimeinen edit. Ihan selvyyden vuoksi selvennetään nyt vielä tähän, että alkuperäinen 2-tähden arvosteluni ei johtunut siitä, että mielestäni 14" pitsa oli liian halpaa, vaan siitä että olin katsonut verkkosivuiltanne haluamani pitsan maksavan 19,50 € ja lähdin kotiin maksettuani hieman suuremmasta pitsasta 42 € (+ 2,50 € limsasta). Yhden hengen yhden illan syömisestä se on mielestäni...

This place is amazing, and I’d argue it’s the only unique and original pizza spot around, not your typical copy and paste pizza place.

Yes, the price can be on the higher side, but the pizza is consistently great and made with high-quality ingredients. I do wish they’d bring back the garlic knots and marinara sauce though, those were a hit!

What I really appreciate about this place is how much they care about their identity. The branded pizza boxes make it so memorable. In Finland, so many pizza places use generic boxes, and it’s easy to forget where the pizza even came from. But here, it stands out.

They’ve also perfected the balance of creating pizza that leaves you satisfied without feeling overly full. You can eat here and still feel great afterward.

They promote big slices, and they deliver on that promise! I hope the prices can stay the same because this place deserves support from pizza lovers. Every pizza is made by hand, packed with flavor, and they offer some really unique combinations. I wanted to share photos, but honestly, the pizza was so good that I forgot...

Amazing service and the best NYC-style pizza in Finland. Nothing to complain here. The Slicemonger slices pass the fold test with flying colors etc. This place is for true pizza lovers. Easily in the top 5 of Finnish pizza joints.

If you like the classic Finnish style kebab-pizza-pies with all the (meat) toppings in the world piled up on top of each other, then this might not be for you. But never say never. There's a place for all pizzas, and there's definitely more than a place for...
