Moro Sky Bar — Restaurant in Tampere sub-region

Situated right in the center of Tampere, third biggest town of whole Finland, the cocktail bar occupies the top floor of the highest "skyscraper" (quite small one compared to others around the world, but it sticks out...) and delivers a fantastic 360° view all over Tampere and the surrounding areas. If your lucky enough with the weather and be there while dawn is happening, you might be witness to a fantastic sundown which floods the whole floor with spectacular warm colours, creating a sensationally peaceful environment. One might say this is just the nature of the sun going down, but the architecture and interior design makes the very best use of it and even amplifies the sensation... Other than that it's a very nice place to hang out, chat with friends, colleagues, mates or whoever you happen to be with, have a few drinks (it's a cocktail bar, but they have a big variety of other alcoholic and alcohol-free beverages available...) take in the stunning view and simply enjoy life. Entering the building and taking the elevator to the bar is free of charge, you only pay for what you consume. The staff is absolutely professional in what they do, also very funny and entertaining. And one of the guys was a walking dictionary of Whiskeys from all around the world! Come in and try it out, it...

Great atmosphere, cocktail and staff.

First of all the place was welcoming, even when entering the hotel below it, and cozy with a touch of elegance. Due to winter most people were gathered in the heated fist area, however the "outside" nonwarmed area was also accessible, which had blankets and pillows prepared to make the stay comfortable. It was rather busy at around 5 pm on a weekday, but the staff worked fast and the people were not loud but chatting in a relaxed manner.

I had never had a cocktail before (I am not much of a drinker) so I asked for help in choosing. The mixer was helpful, explaining and showing what the cocktail he suggested would contain, and all the while staying pleasant. He worked professionally and had humour as he made the drink and served it. The drink, Bubble Trouble, was excellent. I couldn't have wished for better.

The view was good all around, including the toilet room and the outer elevator (Beware if you are afraid of seeing the descent.). :P

The only con I could find was the price, but that I expected from a place like this.

I hope to visit again and perhaps try some of the snacks or the lunch next time I...

Went there today and ordered a salmon bagel and a cafe latte.

They served me a salami bagel because salmon was sold out. I understand, that’s happens. Unfortunately they didn’t inform me about that or asked if salami would be ok too. When I noticed that it was salami and went to the staff to notify them about that (I thought they’d taken a wrong one by mistake), they didn’t ask either if this was ok. Also the topping was really spare. Would you expect more for 6€.

Considering the rather expensive prices this place has, this is the least of service a customer can expect. The staff also seemed rather unmotivated.

So please teach your staff to inform people that food is sold out instead of simply selling an alternative to them.
