Didn’t want to walk around so we decided to had dinner at the hotel restaurant. The place is cozy and nice ambience. Friendly service. Decent price for a hotel restaurant, especially if you have S-card.
Beef tartar is too big cut, it’s supposed to be small cut so it kind of melts in the mouth. Also too much topping so it’s a little bit overwhelming. Luckily, the meat itself is good quality.
I like the dessert, some lemon cream and sorbet ice cream, it’s refreshing.
I had the same pasta on different day. Overall the pasta is good that’s why I’m having it again, but funnily enough the second day tasted better than the first one. I asked the waitress, she said it was actually two different chef.

When I asked about it, the host told me with a straight face: “Hotels in Finland don’t have syrup.” Oh really? Fascinating new Finnish tradition I must have missed while traveling around the country enjoying pancakes with syrup at other hotels.
