This was my most favorite place to eat out of all the student restaurants in Turku due to it's coziness. The room is filled with students and the atmosphere is just wonderful.
With the student discount, your lunch costs €3 instead of €10. Just make sure to be ready to pay with a bank card, as the service is not always around to take cash.
The best part is, that you can heap on your plate as much food as you can fit onto it. So I was always full when leaving the restaurant.
The food typically consists of three parts: first, you put salad on your plate, which has many variations. Next, you put the main course onto the same plate, which is usually potatoes or rice. Also, Fins love milk with their lunch. Make sure to try that out too! Or their local beer! And to top it all of, the restaurant has some amazing bread to go with the meal. Taking two pieces of bread is what's the norm.
The places to sit are the following: a cozy part which reminded me of a living room, a table looking directly at one of the main streets of Turku and the normal, cafeteria...

Saturdays brunch has great selection, it is just a good idea to go there early enough since some foods might have run out already after 11. By the way, a small wish for Assari to replace that bacon cubes with...
