You just do not understand people what gem it is. Giving Marco Polo just 5 stars, is like saying that Freddie Mercury was just a good singer, that Da Vinci was just a good artist, that Einstein just another physicists. It's a goddamn gem of Vaasa. It's making living here easier. It's just perfect pizza.

When you eat their pizza, it's like a Mozart is playing a concert in your mouth. It's like Chopin himself is playing a piano of tastes on your tongue. It's just perfect. Simply perfect.

Every time I have to eat pizza somewhere else, all my memories are bringing me to this place and remind me how good pizza can be and what abominations I have to eat is other places. I'm longing for Marco Polo pizza every time I think about pizza (which is every 5 minutes). It's more than ideal. Just do yourself a goddamn favour and come here when you're in Vaasa. Take Italianissima or La Capreta and you'll thank God himself that you're alive and you can taste things like this. Marco Polo's pizza should be included in some depression healing programmes, because it just makes you want to be alive to eat it every day.

Dopo varie ricerche questa è sembrata l'unica pizzeria in città ad offrire pizza originale italiana, ed infatti è così. Già il nome era un indizio, ma la conferma definitiva poteva arrivare solo dall'assaggio. La pizza è stile napoletano, l'impasto è morbido e digeribile, che ti sembra di poterne mangiare 3 di pizze. Materia prima di qualità e sapori autentici. Buonissimo anche il gelato artigianale. Servizio attento e veloce, neanche dieci minuti dopo l'ordine stavamo già mangiando, nonostante il locale abbia avesse anche molti ordini per il take away, il che dimostra che il locale ha abbastanza personale per far fronte alle situazioni più affollate. Pizza e gelato sono disponibili anche da asporto. Prezzi nella media finlandese. Se cercate pizza e gelato autentici a Vaasa, al Pizzabistro Marco Polo andate sul sicuro.

Useiden etsintöjen jälkeen tämä näytti olevan kaupungin ainoa pizzeria, joka tarjoaa alkuperäistä italialaista pizzaa, ja niin se onkin.

Jo nimi antoi vihjeen, mutta lopullinen vahvistus saatiin vasta maistamalla. Pizzat ovat napolilaistyylisiä, taikina on pehmeää ja sulavaa, että tuntuu kuin voisi syödä kolme pizzaa. Laadukkaat raaka-aineet ja aidot maut. Kotitekoinen jäätelö on myös erittäin hyvää.

Huomaavainen ja nopea palvelu, ei edes kymmentä minuuttia tilauksen jälkeen olimme jo syömässä, vaikka ravintolassa oli myös paljon take away -tilauksia, mikä osoittaa, että ravintolassa on riittävästi henkilökuntaa kiireisimpiinkin tilanteisiin. Pizzaa ja jäätelöä saa myös mukaan otettavaksi. Hinnat ovat Suomen keskitasoa.

This place has a loooong menu of pizzas including white ones and one can also order wines and if you really heavy after the meal you can order grappa "made in Italy" which is really of high quality which also explain the rather high price. The only negative thing to mention is that the menu feels a little bit to long making it hard to chose but it has to be added that the pizzas are REALLY GOOD!
