Located in a small industry environment not a place where you would expect such a great Japanese Restaurant-Deli-Grocery, but within a short bicycle ride from the heart of Aix en Provence. Industrial interior design, table and counter seating available, section with Japanese deli-grocery items (take-away) and Japanese operating supplies Welcome was friendly and we were seated immediately From the menu we selected one Menu Irodorizen (which included Misoshiro, Agenasu Dashi Shoyu, Edamame, Potimarron Dengaku, Kinoko Daikon Gomadare, Nigiri Sushi and Maki, Sashimi, Rice and Mini patisserie of the season.....all served on one tray and very well presented on interesting chinaware. Apart from that we we also ordered some rolls and sushi. Service was friendly and efficient and we found the food of excellent quality and great value for money Definitely a place where we will return and highly recommended to those after a genuine Japanese...

I have generally avoided sushi in France as I see many California Rolls/basic Nigiri places. Just based on the photos I had to try this place. If you are looking for fancy omakase they don’t really have that, but all the food I had was excellent and affordable (strange to say given the high quality). I had the assorted 8 piece sushi as well as the sashimi platter (yes I did both since it’s been over 7 days without Asian food). All of the nigiri and sashimi were fresh and delicious! My daughter had the Chirashi which was solid. My other kids had the Salmon-Don and Gyoza all excellent! We also tried the Mochi with red bean, it was delicious, pricey likely since it was homemade. The Apricot, Lemon, Fig and Strawberry/Raspberry tarts were to die for! Highly...

Great service and fresh food. We had a tiny concern with the fat tuna (you should definitely try it) but everyone apologised because it was a little more exposed to air than it should (yes we are picky with our sushi) and in the end the owner (or manager?) very discretely intervened and they didn't charge it! Fantastic professional attitude and high quality sushi at ok prices. Will definitely return. The terrace is lovely and with a true Japanese feel! Japanese shop within has a good selection of real japanese brands and gives a nice feel to the overall design and atmosphere of the restaurant. Gyozas are amazing and the hot sake very light and...
