The French-Italian fusion of Corsica shines in Ajaccio, and Centro Città captures it. The namesake pizza was doughy, crisp and cheesy in the best ways, with the fresh tomato sauce and melty fromage enhancing the flavors from the sliced meatball and basil. The truffle sauce with the gnocchi was divine and irresistible for dipping with the added pieces of bread. We shared a tiramisu, which was the best we've had on the island so far: not super sweet with fresh mascarpone cheese and ladyfingers. The Corsican red wine pairing made for a complete, delicious and satisfying meal. The service was excellent.
