Le Robinson — Restaurant in Ajaccio

I was a guest at the restaurant 14/08/2023 and have a very uncomfortable experience to share and warn future customers of Le Robinson about.

The case: My girlfriend ordered a Thai Salat with meat and asked it to be cooked well done. The waiters kept delivering rare meet at she returned it 3 times, last time the meat was coal. My girlfriend decided to return the dish and look for food else where.

Escalation: Upon payment I was arguing that I would appreciate the dish to be removed from the bill as a sign of good customer service as the dish was returned 3 times and my girlfriend was waiting for more than 1h. I.e. the quality was not acceptable for at salat to 22€ - total bill was 56€.

The waiters translated to the manager (non English speaker) who escalated the situation by: Verbally abusing me in French about my appearance and physical look Psychically taking my credit card out of my wallet and swiping it on the credit card terminal Hitting my card at the desk and threatening calling the police. Having a unpredictable and threatening behavior.

I left the place having paid the bill incl. the Thai dish. I was were chocked by this behavior as the situation was so uncomfortable and that it shouldn’t interfere with our good days in Porto.

Several guests was seeing the situation escalate, while waiters were tying to downplay...

Zwei Sterne aber wofür? Einen Stern für den angenehmen Kellner des Abends und einen Stern für die Örtlichkeit am Hafen. Wir bestellten Pasta mit Garnelen sowie einen Occtupussalat.... Die Pasta waren zubereitet wie zu extrem schlechten Studentenzeiten, nach dem Motto" der Hunger muss befriedigt werden"....in diesem Fall hat nicht mal die Menge ausgereicht, da Geschmack unterirdisch oder für unser Geschmacksnerven zu unbekannt und wir den kreativen Ansatz der Küche nicht aufnehmen konnten..der Ruf nach dem Gourmetessen aus Studentenzeiten, einer kalten Dose Ravioli wurde leider nicht erhört und somit verließ meine Frau die Location mit ca. 300kcal welche der Rotwein bzw. der Aperetif her gab. Der Occtopusssalat war okay....der Occtopus hat seine Zeit sicherlich in der Gefriertruhe verbringen müssen und war in der Konsistenz bissfest, geschmacklich hat man Salz, Peffer, Essig und Öl auf dem Tisch und hilft sich selbst.... Auf unsere Anmerkung betreffend der kreativen geschmacklichen Zubereitung der Pasta wurde zwar reagiert und wir verweisen damit auf einen professionellen Umgang mit voll zurückgegebenen Tellern hin. Korrektur, es wurden 5 Euro auf der Rechnung hinsichtlich unserer Reklamation weniger berechnet. Danke dafür! Für uns gilt in diesem Fall, wir werden dieser Location keine zweite Chance einräumen, da es vor eine Ort eine Auswahl von Restaurants gibt.... Trotz allem stellt die Bewertung eine Momentaufnahme dar, welche sich ändern kann... Wir wünschen den Verantwortlichen alles Gute und verbleiben trotz allem, nicht mit...

I was visiting ‘Le Robinson’ earlier today, the 2023.08.14. I experienced a manager/ waiter yelling loudly at a guest (tourist) primarily on French and showing aggressive and unpredictable behaviour by physically taking the credit card out of his hand and hammering it in a table.
