Restaurant Pizzeria La Dolce Vita — Restaurant in Ajaccio

I discovered this Restaurant last year by chance - it was really good. I re-visited this year and the Parillada de la Mer just hit me like Angus Young´s chords.

Not only the monkfish, the Gamba, the mussels and the Octopus were perfect... there were about 10 different vegetables on the plate. Boiled, roasted, grilled, raw, pickeled, marinated, fermented, it was an explosion of taste and as a carnivore I hate to say, but the different vegetables were the stars and the great seafood only the extras! Good job!

The host and his wife are really nice people, the look from the terrace is astonishing. The Terminator would say "I´ll be back"... :)

Such a great meal! Kind of surprised cuz I just stumbled in after checking into the hotel. The service was stellar, felt like I had three attentive waiters not just one. Gorgeous views of the harbor, excellent menu created with care. The couple next to me had some amazing desserts (one included the waiter pouring hot chocolate onto a sculpted chocolate mesh to melt it - wow!). My lime sorbet was great too just less fancy. Haha. The place has an excellent setting. Wonderful view of the mountains and the sea. The food is really really good and very fair prices. The place is popular amongst kiddy-families and therefore a bit noisy. But I would go anyway .. and sit on the terasse. The place is quit full and busy. Hence the busy staff but still nice.. . We recommend. Service is - due to business- between 3 and 4 stars. But all in all. Rather go a bit higher than lower in this case. The place deserves it. Also really good bread.
