Mille et une Saveurs Sauvages — Restaurant in Ajaccio

You MUST visit this gem whenever you are in the area! The restaurant name is "A thousand and one wild flavours" (according to the Google translation), and it is so right! What a wonderful place to eat, we had a delightful lunch and took away some lovely cakes. And the above is true whether you are a vegetarian, vegan, gluten free or not, the food is so very tasty! And if you happen to be gluten free vegetarians like ourselves you'll be familiar with visiting other restaurants/cafés where you may have only one option on the menu, but here we could pick any of the many many GF vegan options, which was very exciting for us! I'm not vegan or vegetarian but I do eat gluten free so I was happy to try this restaurant. We tried most of the menu in 2 days and I can say everything was good. While eating you can tell a lot of effort went into every dish, even the salad was creative and delicious.

Absolutely would return and absolutely would recommend. Our favourite were the Pita and the quiches. Really enjoyed the dessert selections. The chocolate mousse and something with raspberries on top were the best!

The food is not simple or low effort and portions are large so I think the prices are FAIR. Absolutely would return, and will definitely consider eating more vegan food in the future!

My fiancé and I, keen plant based folks, visited Mille et une saveurs sauvages restaurant for lunch every day while we were in Corsica. This was our favourite part of Corsica! The food was delicious, generous serving sizes and full of colourful local produce. The flavours were immense, it’s clear the chef understands how to pair foods to enhance the flavours, and assemble beautiful looking dishes. We worked our way through as much of the menu as we could and it was all so delicious, including the desserts and baked goods (best mousse we’ve ever had!)
