The meals were good (not exceptional), but we waited for 1 hour and 30 minutes to be served, I've never experienced such a long waiting time, and 20 mn after ordering our meals, the waiter came back to tell me that my meal was not available (it was the lamb)... And it was very expensive (186€ for 3 people), so you would at least expect a reasonable waiting time for that price and a normal lunch... All other comparable restaurants at Val d'Isère had really efficient and professional service (Fondue Factory, Le Yule, L'Etincelle...) so I really do not understand the reason for waiting 1h30 to be served at La...

Cosy atmosphere. Musicians (electric guitar & bass, acoustic guitar and a unique percussionist with wide repertoire) roaming the tables after 8pm every night taking requests (for a tip) was unexpected in such a small place. Our waiter was very nice and very attentive. At the time of writing this place has a 3.9 star rating. Honestly no clue why it's that low. We had the raclette and it was probably the best one I've had. Often raclette / fondue is ruined by trash bread but what they served us was incredible, fresh bread.
