A quirky and cozy little place with interesting dishes.
Food 4.5/5 The guineafowl (if I remember correctly) amuse-bouche was amazing—from the presentation to the sweet and savory and tender taste. Just what I needed after trekking in the snow.
That night, they had bread with homemade orange butter, which was soft, sweet, and extremely creamy.
Pig tail (entrée) • Presentation: unique and interesting • Love the combustion of sweet and meaty and crunchy • The meat itself tastes like meat floss, though it’s not too dry
Rabbit (main) The presentation was amazing, as with all the other courses. I particularly loved the warm and sweet gravy that came with it. One piece of the ham wrapped around the rabbit meat was a bit dry, however.
Chocolate dome (dessert) Exactly as described. A little less unique compared to some of the menu options, but it was good nonetheless.
I do, however, hope there are more dessert options.
The price is also reasonable.
Service 4.5/5
Very friendly and attentive staff. The waitress very thoroughly explained every option on the menu to me at the beginning (as she would work everyone). I also got checked on a few times during the meal, which was appreciated (and rather rare in France). Overall, everything was pretty prompt: getting my menu, getting my food, getting my bill.
It does feel like the amount of attention one gets declines a bit as they reach the dessert course, however. We were handed the menu without getting the treatment of having each (of the 3 only) options explained.
Atmosphere: I absolutely loved the candlelit atmosphere with whimsical decors. The non-flat layout adds interest as well.

Read moreWent out for a meal at the Queue de Cochon, the atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable yet still felt very classy. The manager, Sarah, was very helpful, talking through the menu in detail while describing all the dishes and what they came with.
The charcuterie board was great with enough for multiple people, the pigs tail which was accompanied by croutons and apple sauce were absolutely delicious, and the Joues de Boeuf was perfectly tender, as it just melted apart. It came with mash and carrots in a beef jus which tasted amazing.
The food came with a bread basket with homemade passion fruit and sweet chilli butter which tasted incredible, lovely touch to the already beautiful meal.
Everything from the service to the food itself was outstanding, we will definitely be returning next time we are...
Read moreWe really loved this restaurant. We are a family of 5. The amuse bouche was delicious and all our main and starter dishes were tasty too. We had the pigs tail for starter which was lovely and the beef carpaccio too. Both amazing. For mains we had 3 steaks, one tuna tartare and one veggie gyoza & noodle dish. All really delicious and cooked well. The only tiny downside was that the mash potato that came with the steak was cold. Otherwise zero complaints. Our waitress was lovely and explained the whole menu to us in loads of detail which is really rare to find these days and something which made the experience feel more personal. I’d definitely come back here and would recommend to anyone...
