La Terrasse — Restaurant in Albertville

Quite bad experience, service wise. We waited for half an hour, none of the staff approached us, which was at first fine since this place was overcrowded at 1 pm, it's understandable. We entered restaurant and tried to order there, staff chased us away literally saying "shoo" and let us know that we are interrupting them, so we went outside to wait again and waitress approached us after another 15-20 minutes. Nobody speaks English here and they refused to speak slower basic French, since we were not native speakers. We managed to order desserts and they were quite good (we tried to order a dessert we saw on one table, which staff didn't want to give us, until we were very persistent and stubborn), still workers here are rude and service is generally bad. I consider nice environment a part of eating experience (especially with prices like that), unless I'm eating in a stall on the street. In the photo you can see the table we were granted. Location is very nice and near skiing route but if you'd have another option, I don't recommend wasting time here - you can eat good food with better service and same prices in different restaurants in the...

An awful experience. There were four of us and we asked the waitress before sitting down whether, if we all ordered drinks and three of us ordered food, the fourth could eat a sandwich they had with them. We offered to sit on a picnic table far from the restaurant to do this, but the waitress said it was fine, and asked us to move closer to make her serving easier. We got drinks and everything was fine, but then the owner brought out the food, saw our friend's sandwich, and then kicked us out of the restaurant. She took the food away but insisted that we pay for the drinks, which we had barely begun. We explained that we had asked permission of the waitress, but she did not believe us, and when the owner aggressively challenged the waitress about this she said that she had not in fact given us permission....

RACIST PLACE!!! Ordered food, which was fine, but the treatment of everyone in their from the staff who weren't French is a disgrace! I noticed them treating Germans, Chinese, brittish in a very particular way from slamming plates down, not bringing things that had been requested numerous times and then staff laughing about it, just skimming bank cards back to foreigners rather than hand them back kindly like they do to the French, staff standing over people and getting angry and physically pointing down at people talking horribly and when questioned about this the owner says stuff in french so his scruffy clan at the bar all laugh like he's purposefully insulted them without them...
