Overpriced then overcharged €3.50 coffee + €1 cream = €6 to these reprobates. Inadequate, limited food range. Would recommend walking 10m behind to several other cafes where service is more accommodating. Would not recommend. Hopefully close soon due to poor service.

Upon your excessively rude response, I'd like to amend that I did accidentally over represent cost as the Menu shows a Cafe Allonge as €3 then €1 for cream. With this update that would equate €4 and yet I was still charged €6, so overcharged €2 - not €1.50 as if thought - Well done! Now let's approach that you have had other quests who also have complained about their coffee and charges so this is why you confuse the cases as evidently you do not remember myself as I did not order an espresso nor did I return to the counter for milk, regardless of wether you stole or paid for your milk would be of little concern to myself. The attitude of blatant overcharging several guests that you mixed them up, the ignorance to accuse myself of ordering 2 items which I hadn't and then the fact you believe it audacious to think this shouldn't result in closure of business, you're deluded and in need of attention. Humility is clearly not for such reprobates, take some ownership and never inaccurately make accusations against those that you've abused whilst believing this to be...
Read moreAlpine food is not cheap, but this was over priced. I went for the Burger option on the limited menu. Food was well presented, but oddly bland and flavourless. The fries limp and lacking any texture. It was ok, but it wasn't worth €25 - I had a more tasty croque monsieur and fries for €10 at lunch. Add in €12 for less than a pint of beer and you really start feeling gouged.
See vegetarian for how that turned out.
The building is interesting, but poorly lit outside with odd steps. Interior is pleasant and bright, but nowhere to hang your coats.
Staff were good and attentive. Nothing was to much trouble for them.
Not going to say avoid, because the food was okay and the place appealing, just be aware of the limited menu and the prices...
Read moreLoved this place. Stayed in Peissey for a week and the only place we had dinner in twice. Proper authentic ski lodge feel to the restaurant, and they accommodated a group of x8 people twice at short notice, in spite of the restaurant being busy both nights. Really surprised to read some unnecessary previous negative reviews on the service, as genuinely thought they were all excellent, friendly and very accommodating. Really nice, genuine people. Food was superb. Would highly recommend for dinner. We even had lunch here one day at their snack bar off the Vanoise Express, and it was also a great spot. Great place all round. Thank you for adding to...
