From the presentation, pacing, open-kitchen design, intimate five-table-seating area, multi-sensory (smell, sound, taste, and even the sourcing of every material including the cutlery and table legs), and of course to the food, this place was absolutely stunning. They were highly accommodating of a vegan diet for one party member, and the flavors were so multilayered and still complementary. We had the “La Dent du Villard 2285” 5 courses, but with the amuse bouches and palate cleansers/in between dishes, it was the perfect amount of food. Special mention to the “Alpine Yellow Fairy” gentian sorbet with chlorophyll and kumquat, the “Blond Peas” ravioli and mustard mesculun with horseradish loin, and the “Honey ‘Laitier’” dessert from the dessert menu. Our party members also loved the mushroom/truffle tart, the trout, and . Thank you sincerely to the staff and chefs for a wonderful night. Absolutely deserving of at least two stars, let alone its present one star. Definitely worth the trip!

The cooking level is outstanding, the ambience relaxing with the mountains and firs just outside the window. I have recently been to all of the Courchevel and Megève Michelin starred restaurants and they are all good as one might expect, however this little place left a really good impression with the overall cooking, service and ambience that all went together as one coherent theme.

À la fois voyage et véritable expérience pour les 5 sens, le chef Jean-Remi CAILLON et ses équipes nous ont transporté de la plus belle des manières dans le terroir local. Nous avons retrouvé ici un Courchevel authentique et avons été émerveillés et surpris du début à la fin. On sent qu’il y a eu un gros travail de recherche pour sublimer chaque aspect du repas et rendre hommage à la Savoie et ses producteurs/artisans de façon élégante. Tout était parfait. Merci encore pour ce moment ; pour nous vous êtes déjà au sommet et vous retrouverez bientôt les étoiles.

Absolutely phenomenal meal. The setting is gorgeous, with floor to ceiling views of the surrounding snow-capped trees, and the dining room is enchanting, including beautiful crushed green velvet chairs. The team was friendly, attentive, and spot on with their recommendations for wine and drinks. The food was delicious, creative, and focused on local ingredients. So many interesting flavor combinations, and I loved how they married local ingredients, classic French cooking, and Japanese influence and flavors. Would definitely go back next time we’re in Courchevel, at which point I fully expect Alpage will have two or three...
