Baïes — Restaurant in Albertville

Baies was actually very underwhelming. We expected it to be better. The audience: only Arabs. Literally every table except ours was full with Arabs. Which makes me think - how is it this way? Strange 😅 Food was good, but portions were actually small (we didn’t have this issue in other restaurants in 1850) When you are sitting and talking to your friends, it’s strange that a hostess interrupts and starts talking to you, and promotes the sister restaurant of Baies, and pushes you to make a dinner reservation. Like honestly leave us alone, when we are paying so much money to eat here.

Due to the location of the restaurant, the terrace is fulll of shade and no sun from 15:00.

The music was extremely loud (which is fine for me) and they tried to make a party vibe, but absolutely no one in the restaurant was dancing. So it was a fail.

I recently dined at Bais in Courchevel, and I must say, it was one of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had. We paid a staggering bill of €1,000, with zero alcohol, only to be served food that was burnt and inedible.

To make matters worse, one of the employees, a man named Mike, exhibited extremely aggressive behavior. He completely lost control and physically pushed one of our group members to the ground because someone forgot to tip for leaving their skis outside. This was not only shocking, but also frightening; even the managers seemed overwhelmed and were trying to intervene to get Mike away from the situation.

Overall, I would not recommend dining at Bais. The combination of poor food quality and such alarming behavior from staff is unacceptable. We expected much more from a restaurant of...

Terrible experience. Service ok, food not good and extremly overpriced.

Parked my skiis outside myself and then comes this man "Mike" beeing aggressive and told me I have to pay him 5 euro. I parked my skiis myself and was given no info I had to pay. He verbaly insulted me and even pushed me to the ground and held me and told me to fuck off. The manager came and solved the situation. This Mike should never work in any kind of customer service. Terrible and I was in shock leaving leaving the place. Our bill was way over 1000 euro and we gave a good tip despite the food beeing so-so.
