Ski Lodge — Restaurant in Albertville

A great atmosphere here apres ski. Prices are in line with what one would expect in a French ski resort, expensive though not as much as in - say- courcheval. Food is OK, and portions are big, so great for putting back those burned calories at a reasonable (relative) price. TV screens showing football, rugby etc are around the bar, and there is live music a few times a week. All in all a great place to reconsider the day. A popular place at the bottom of the blue Folyeres run into La Tania, overlooking the learner area. Catches the lunch time sun. Ideal for a bite of lunch outside or a beer in the evening inside. I can recommend the steak bagetts for an inexpensive lunch, and the ski lodge burger was also very tasty.

Went here twice. Food was good, all of the staff were really lovely and so helpful. All of them are English speaking, out of those I spoke to they seemed to be British or Australian. It is however, very busy so be warned you may have to wait for a table for a while. Or if you go during happy hour (1600-1800) then it's even busier and very noisy.
