Hit and miss. My starters were ok, nigiri and sashimi, fish fresh, wasabi sharp, pickled ginger very good. Initially my service person was on point, amiable and to my discredit, much better at English then I was in French. However, my main, of Gambas and risotto was very poor - 3 small, overcooked prawns of a nondescript nature, on ok cooked but flavourless rice. Desert was a disaster - so-called cheesecake, which looked dubious and tasted like cream cheese on a heavy crushed biscuit base, fridge style - cannot fully describe how poor this dish was. On the Positive side, my two companions had the decouvert menus and both had pleasant meals and were happy with their choice. Having complained about both my main and desert courses, I was underwhelmed to see that no effort had been made to make me feel good about settling the bill - had I been offered alternative choices, this would not have been an issue, but I was not given that option.
