Very nice. It doesn’t look like much from the outside, but the inside has a nice atmosphere and, more importantly, the food is excellent and the price is good. I had the lunch special - chicken in a mushroom sauce, with salad, rice, and a glass of red wine. It was very good, and I’d recommend it if it’s on the menu for the day. Cracking little pub in Angoulême. And the food is excellent and cheap... burgers seriously nice and the chips too! Honestly doesn’t look much from outside but really quirky and cool inside. And the local brew Jack beer is lovely stuff. Any Brits in town will love...

Ce petit restaurant bar est toujours aussi bon. J’y suis venu plusieurs fois lors du festival international de la B.D. d’Angoulême avec ma grande fille, et à chaque fois on s’est régalé. Le service est adorable. Les plats sont super bons et il y a une petite terrasse dans une ruelle piétonne à l’ombre qui donne sur la place des Halles. C’est vraiment un lieu idéal pour manger et boire à toute heure, et c’est comme ça qu’on a découvert l’endroit la première fois vu qu’il était 15 heures et que la plupart des restaurants ne servaient plus.
