L'Instant Gourmand — Restaurant in Apt

Came here for a very late lunch - got there jsut before 2pm when the restaurant closes. We weren’t sure they would be able to seat us as it was so late but wow they were so nice and friendly and super happy to accommodate us for lunch. My mum had the fixed price lunch menu (18 euros) for a chicken and rice main (with ginger and coriander) and brownie - it was amazing value and both, especially the brownie were delicious. We also tried a number of entrees (foie gras - always yummy) and an eggplant dish (this was ok) as well as a salmon tartare. We also had a coffee and mixed dessert plate to finish and this was exquisite. The team are super friendly and helpful. We had a few slight communication issues with the child’s meal but it all sort of worked out (only ended up with a tiny portion of it but meh). Great restaurant that consistently serves great meals with professional, attentive service. The amuse was a light and fresh-tasting leek-ricotta cream. My husband had the formula, starting with toasted brioche with avocado, smoked duck and slices of grapefruit - a wonderful balance of textures and flavours followed by the trout with spring vegetables, finishing with a strawberry rhubarb pavlova. Good food, friendly staff, wonderful experience.

But... The dishes are really on the salty side for more, which made me drink a lot of water. There was lack of green vegetables on all plates of mine; although I do like mushrooms and potatoes, but I don't need them on all my plates. Also, can one single piece of chocolate tuile include as the third in the chocolat trio? I am disappointed with this...
