RESTAURANT OWNER, VERY RUDE ! We are a group of 14 people, despite previous booking, were put on 2nd Floor. 2 of us are old, have a problem going up the stairs (one of them just broke her ankle), and requested table on the 1st floor (just for 2 people). There was a small empty available table available on the corner, and the staff gave us that table. The owner instead screamed and made gesture chasing us away from restaurant REPEATEDLY, did not even bother to listen to us or his staff and insisted these two old people to climb the stairs.
He said cannot2 but in the end, there was actually a lift ! So after we went to 2nd floor, had lunch which took so long to come out, and when we wanted to go down, the lift was shut despite the light on, the staff after asking the owner, easily said elevator not working, so the old people had to struggle walking down the stairs. No Empathy.
Choose other restaurants, for that price you can get better food, better service, speedier food coming out & empathy service who appreciate you more as customers.
[A reply to your FALSE Reply]
Thank you for your response, which just proves to other readers how racist, very rude and how you have NO EMPATHY towards your own customers. Mentioning my country, making assumptions about my country (what do you know of my country?) was unnecessary and just shows how unprofessional you are. We have been to France and around the world several times to know the difference between a genuine and Respectful warm welcome vs. blatant disrespect towards your customers. The service we received in your restaurant clearly DOES NOT represent the polite and kind service culture other restaurants in France have provided towards their customers, so do not assume you are the same with them. You are NOT.
You said in your reply that my group are unable to "understand English", which again shows how racist, judgemental, hypocritical and misleading you are:
I would like to remind you that you did not even TRY to communicate with us! When we were trying to find a solution for the 2 eldery (seniors) who could not climb the stairs, YOUR employees were the ones who suggested the mentioned corner small table, as it was EMPTY (Nothing on top of it, just a small two person coffee table). Never once, did we try to take up all the tables on the ground floor. We merely asked for that one corner table YOUR employees suggested to us, so that the two seniors in our group, who were unable to climb the steep stairs, could also eat in your restaurant.
If your employees were the ones who suggested that table then clearly, that table was not reserved! Instead, you decided to scold your employee for having empathy! When we were about to leave, you then showed us there was in fact, a working elevator (which you did not show us before). After we finished eating, and the eldery needed to go down on the lift, all of the sudden, the lift was not in operation?! So the eldery had to go down the steep stairs in pain! Very Cruel and No Empathy.
My review stated nothing but FACTS on what happened during our time in your restaurant. Instead of owning up to your mistakes, you Play Victim, Lie by Completely Changing the Facts and Insult Your Customer, whom your business depends on.
My final advice: Don't be a Lying Hypocrite, especially on a sacred...
Read moreThis is NOT A HOTEL! This is a restaurant apparently with Vietnamese Cuisine. Food was bloody awful! We ordered Pork Laque, the sliced pork came with rice, the rice was the best part! You seriously can’t screw up on rice! The pork slices were over fried, some of them were downright hard & chewy, came with a mysterious sauce that I have no idea what it is… we had lots of Vietnamese cuisine but we have never encountered that sauce before. At least the shredded veggies salad was fresh. The next dish we had was Bun Cha Hanoi, nothing Hanoi about this dish… it came with rice vermicelli (at least that was cooked right). That bowl of whatever came in pork slices in a very sweet sauce & with 2 pieces of fried meat patties. I think the patties might be pork, the meat had gone bad, the meat had a sour ish smell & taste, I had to spat it out. Service was ok, never came to check on us to find out how the food was, then I would tell them the meat was bad. When we went up to pay, I had to do Goggle translate to French to inform them that the meat patties went bad… the person behind the counter did not looked impressed. However did acknowledged by saying “d’accord” aka alright but no apologies. I have no idea how they are given a 4???!!! Do not eat there, you have...
