As a British girl with little to no French, visiting Lourdes for the first time was an exciting and somewhat daunting experience.

My experience at this bakery was nothing short of amazing. The bread was truly something else; it had the perfect texture with a crispy crunch on the outside and was deliciously moist in the middle. I had never tasted bread that was so amazing before!

Despite my initial fears of not being able to communicate with the locals, the staff at the bakery were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They took the time to explain the different types of bread they had available and even made some recommendations based on my preferences. I was pleasantly surprised by how accommodating they were, especially given my lack of French language skills.

Overall, my experience at the French bakery in Lourdes was definitely a highlight of my trip. The delicious bread and friendly staff made the experience even more impactful.

If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by and trying their amazing bread...

Good bakery, best part is if you are visiting the basilica or the grotto you have to walk up a hill, so more room for pastries! We tried many desserts! I had an almond croissant, chocolate chip cookie, and strawberry tart. The tart was the best thing I have had in a while. The cookie was tasty but was too stiff. The almond croissant had too much filling, but it was tasty. My wife had a croissant and a coffee puff pastry. The croissant was gone in a flash. The puff pastry was ok. Everything looked amazing, will update when I try some more...

Great bread, sandwiches, and pastries! Everything is super fresh, baked to perfection on the spot. I had a cheese and ham sandwich that was just fantastic. I also had a strawberry tarte which was really delicious. The pastry had the perfect balance between holding it's form and crumbly goodness, and the berries were at peak ripe. The bread was amazing too... Nice and crunchy on the outside, soft and delicate inside.

I noticed a steady stream of locals stopping by for their bread and pastries....

The most delicious pastries can be found not in the centre of town but at Le Moulin de Don Quichotte. Normally I would not eat sweets but we purchased three times in two days from the fabulous selection. The problem here is choosing. We walked but I noticed 5 minute street parking available. It’s primarily a takeaway establishment but we stood at a high table on the first morning and ate our croissants before taking our coffee on our walk into town. Enjoy
