Café Brasserie Les Brancardiers — Restaurant in Argelès-Gazost

Vegetarians... Don't go here!! Such poor service and they lie straight to your face... Ordered a spaghetti with tomato sauce since we are vegetarian and were server a spaghetti bolognese... WITH MEAT!!!... When asked if there was meat in there because it kind of looked like it they lied straight to our face. After having a few bites we for sure realised there was meat in there and we told the lady/boss of the restaurant... First she kept on lying and tried to make us feel like we were crazy. Finally she admitted there was meat in there but didn't even dare to apologize. She laughed in our face and told it was our own problem. After explaining her it would at least be respectful to apologize after something like that we still didn't get an apology. When we walked out she laughed some more at us... Even the boy working there was embarrassed for her. As you can imagine we were extremely upset and would never set one foot in there ever again. Worst restaurant...

Everything was one star! It took a while to find someone to serve us and then they moved our table to the worst possible seat. Super cramped and full of smoke wafting throughout the whole restaurant. We were uncomfortable before we even ordered the food. The food was terrible at best. The pizza tasted like it was frozen before and simply heated up. Salad was all brown rotten leaves and inedible. Drinking cups and dishes all very dirty. The server made us feel like we were a burden. I would not recommend this place. Much better service and food quality offered at other places such...

Excellent restaurant to eat at when in Lourdes. The service was attentive and the food delicious. Every dish was prepared with attention. The Belgium beer we ordered was so good- authentic Belgium beer - a welcome respite from the ordinary lagers and IPAs. The veal chops I ate wee beautifully prepared, and seasoned perfectly. The gravy I got on the side was peppery and the French fries abundant. My spouse got the pizza and it was spot on perfect. The waiter was friendly and spoke perfect English. I highly recommend this...
