Phi Long — Restaurant in Argelès-Gazost

The restaurant is more Vietnamese than Thai. Don’t get fooled by the “Thai” in the names of the dishes. I ordered a Thai Coconut milk soup and there was hardly any coconut milk in it.

Once you get used to the concept that it’s a Vietnamese joint, the food is nice but not great. The fried rice was ruined with the topping of fried onions which almost always has a very strong smell and flavour.

Portions are good for the price.

Don’t order any “Thai” dishes.

Another review mentioning the heavy use of mono sodium glutamate (MSG) is spot on. Beware if you don’t like salty food. My tongue was tasteless till the next morning.

Horrible experience here. Don't understand the 4 star ratings. Either people don't know good asian foods, or the reviews are fake. The atmosphere was 0K, but the food we ordered "pho" tastes like a bad dessert. They must have added a ton of sugar. It was too sweet. What was worse is the server. They had only one guy, and he was so rude. We never got water, or the sauces to go with "pho" . He even told us to go to a restaurant across the street if we we don't sit together with a bunch of strangers in our tour group. Definitely a NO. Don't go to...

ONE OF THE WORST VIETNAMESE RETAURANTS IN LOURDES. We will never recommend this restaurant to anybody who truly knows what the authentic Vietnamese cuisine is all about. Terrible quality of PHO, CƠM VỊT for bizarre high price. Totally disappointing service. No single positive and welcoming attitude of the man who serves there. No ventilator, no airconditioning...in such a stuffy atmosphere inside....
